if i close my eyes tight enough i dont feel it anymore.
the pain that spreads from the middle of my chest to every inch of my body
it is constant and unwavering
a burden that i have taken on unwillingly.
it is a monstrosity in the corner of my room.
just barely out of sight, but i can feel its awful gaze.
it wants to hurt me.
i think i will allow it.
